This Greater China business unit mission is to develop a minimum of 5 resorts in China and to make of China the 2nd biggest market for Club Med in the world as well as to forge relations with major real estate companies, private owners and travel agents in China. The business unit includes a Club Med resort in Yabuli, a successful ski resort that started in 2010 and Club Med Guilin to open in May 2013 as well as regional functions and commercial offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hong-Kong and Taipeh, covering sales to resorts in China and overseas.Olivier is located in Shanghai. Lee Wee-Hau Senior Vice President of Development, Greater China Hilton Worldwide
Francis Lee Wee-Hau is the Senior Vice President of Development, Greater China, for Hilton Worldwide. Based in Shanghai, he is responsible for the expansion of the portfolio of properties under the Hilton brands in the region. Prior to joining Hilton, Francis was a corporate finance lawyer with significant transactional experience in Sydney and Singapore. He specialized in private equity, venture capital, M&A, alliance and technology acquisition deals and represented both financial and strategic buyers, including the Castle Harlan Australian Mezzanine Partners, Allen & Buckeridge Fund, Equity Asia Partners, Coca-Cola Company, SingTel Optus and the Government of New South Wales. Francis graduated in 1996 with Honours from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Law. He also graduated in 2001 with a Master of Law from the University of New South Wales, scoring straight distinctions. Prior to joining Interstate China, Mr. Chan was the Vice President of the Elite Consultancy based in Hong Kong to provide the Consultancy Services to the developers for the hotel project during the planning and construction stage, as well as represent the owners to conduct the operators search and management contract negotiations. Mr. Chan held various positions including corporate marketing and development role at hotel group’s corporate headquarter in Hong Kong and China. Mr. Chan has been working for hotel groups like IHG, Kempinski, Le Meridien, Marco Polo, Accor, Wyndham Hotels Group and Langham Hotels International. Mr. Chan is an associated member of the Hong Kong Management Association and graduated from Cesar Ritz Colleges, Switzerland. |
